9 Cute Stay-Home Summer Outfits

by - 31 July

Summertime this year is definitely a unique experience. After spending most of 2020 indoors, I decided to put together 9 cute outfits that you can wear even while staying in. Let me know which one is your favourite and which ones you've tried out. :)

First up is this cute cottage core-inspired look that's made up of the perfect white babydoll number, a rattan purse and a hair scarf/ bandana that has been taking over Pinterest and Instagram. I might add that a babydoll dress is truly the perfect summery piece for me.

bag: from a market in vietnam

This second look is something I am so so proud of! Bringing together the 1980s shoulder pads and 2015 tennis skirt, I completed this neutral look with a baguette bag that's representative of the 90's. One of my absolute favourite looks to date!

bag: the mad theory
skirt: aliexpress

This is girl-next-door look instantly made me feel so girly and dainty. This stunning blue sweater top paired with a cute white skirt is the perfect summer look. You'll notice that pastels and baby blues are a recurring trend in this post but honestly, I just love this colour so much for summer!

I will coin look this as the perfect summer pastels. Pairing lilac with pastel green is this season's must. I love the way the two contrasting colours bring out the best in each other and it is just a really happy outfit. p.s. If you've watched my Spring & Summer Haul on youtube, this top should look pretty familiar. ;)

skirt: the closet lover

Getting massive school girl vibes all through this look! I love collared tops, and honestly would love to have a collection of shirts like this in all colours. But this creamy neutral piece just goes so well with my favourite Princess Polly skirt. This pastel green number with the little slit on the side just looks super cute. I accessorised with a matching scrunchie to complete this outfit.

This is such a throwback to the nineties! I'm all for the neon/pastel colour-blocking. Cardigan tops are such a cute piece for the in-between weather and also, a huge trend this season. The material of this is so soft and really comfy to wear. I paired it with a classic denim skirt for a casual vibe. P.S. say hello to my little angel who's made an appearance hehe love her so much x

It wouldn't be summer without a floral dress! This gorgeous blue floral piece is so flattering on - it's really light and airy so it also keeps me cool in the hot weather.

Baby blue is an obvious favourite this season. I know I'm wearing a sweater but bear with me here — this look would be perfect for a rainy day. Just picture the rain pouring down outside, you're indoors all cosied up in the softest sweater, with Taylor Swift's folklore playing in the background. The vibes are immaculate!!

sweater: adidas

The final look I have on my list is another cosy option for the cooler days. Again, we see my preference for blues but I'm not mad about it. I love love this colour for summer because it reminds me of the clear blue skies we get this time of year. I paired this cardigan with some fun white printed shorts for the perfect pastel look.

cardigan: cotton on
shorts: the tinsel rack
