Hey guys! Today's post is a very exciting collab with Cecile Swim — as you can read from the title, I have prepared 3 different ways I've styled the Aries One-Piece. Turning it from swimwear to everyday wear.
Cecile Swim is an ethical and sustainable swim label from Perth, Western Australia and each piece is handmade with exceptional quality! I'll talk a little bit more about them at the end of the post, but here are the 3 ways I'd style a one-piece swimwear into outfits for 3 different occasions.
Beach Day
So the most basic and effortless way to style it for everyday wear is to throw on some denim shorts and you're pretty much good to go. It's a pretty simple grab-and-go outfit that I would wear to the beach (obviously), to grab a quick bite, or to run some errands.
Next up, I am so proud of these 2 looks because I spent a good amount of time conceptualising and styling the piece to create the following outfits in the most innovative way I could.
Weekend Date
This one, I would wear over and over again — for sure. I knew I wanted to layer the one-piece over a t-shirt but I struggled with trying to come up with a bottom to match. I tried a couple of different coloured skirts/ shorts but they all just didn't quite work out.
My sister actually suggested a black skirt and lent me hers and *WOW* it was the final piece to the puzzle! It almost looks like a dress over the t-shirt (which is from Purpur by the way) and created an illusion of the perfect silhouette.
I completed the look with my wicker basket bag and go-to chunky sneakers from Cotton On. I wore this on a cafe brunch date, but I'd definitely rock this to the movies, a birthday party or an event in the future!
Office Wear
The third outfit I styled with the Aries One-Piece is this one that I actually wore to work! I work in the creative/ beauty field and we don't have strict dress codes which is why I could easily don this to work on a regular day. But for those of you who work in a more professional setting, this may pass as a Friday casual look.
I wore the piece under some linen pants and threw on my Cotton On Blazer to finish off the look. No one could tell it was swimwear, and I actually felt like a boss babe when I wore this outfit. For shoes I went with my sliders from Charles & Keith since they are what I wear to work on the regular anyway.
Cecile Swim
So these are the 3 looks I came up with using the same Aries One-Piece from Cecile Swim. I think it's amazing how their pieces are so versatile and could be transformed into wearable everyday pieces seamlessly. There has been more discussions and awareness surrounding the importance of slow and ethical fashion and I am humbled to be able to stand behind a brand that is committed to making a social and environmental difference.
They've also very kindly given me a code to share with you guys! It's LEMIELCH10 for 10% off the site.
