#whatiwore in new york 2018
Back in New York City one year later

I'm so excited to be doing another #WhatIWore in New York. If you've read my previous one, high 5 girl! Thank you for supporting my blog for so long.
Anyway, I was in NYC again for a couple of days in August, and thought I'd share with you guys what I wore while I was there.

Top: Her Happy Dose
Pants: Brandy Melville
Heels: The Editors Market
Honestly, those heels were a killer and so you'll see that I ended up trading them for my comfy Air Force 1's in the next few photos.

Blazer: G2000

It was so different being in New York for work and being there on vacation, even though we got to sightsee we had to move around on a tight schedule. I ended up not needing to go for the meetings so I got to change to sneakers to make it easier for walking around.
Even though I was there for work, we had lots of time to visit iconic places as well. This is the Oculus, which is located right next to the current World Trade Centre.

Top: Seoul Street Stores
Skirt: Monki
Shoes: Nike Air Force 1
Tuesday's agenda was pretty similar to Monday's, just running around the city visiting different office buildings and of course, sightseeing. We were in Times Square for a quick meeting so we got to experience the electricity of having people from all walks of life congregate at one spot.

Sunglasses: Raybans
We were there at the end of Summer going into Fall so the weather was pretty good to us. This is for sure one of my favourite outfits on the trip. Chelsea was a really nice neighbourhood too, we ended up grabbing some bubble tea in between meetings.
Top: Taiwan Street Shops
Pants: Can't remember sorry
Shoes: Air Force 1
I did a quick outfit change on Tuesday as well because it was the last day we'd be going round the city, so I thought I'd get some good shots while we're at it. The next two days were for the beauty expo so we'd be indoors all day.
Blazer: G2000
Top: The Closet Lover
Pants: The Editors Market
Shoes: Nike Air Force 1
Wednesday and Thursday both went by super quick, we went into the expo in the day and by the time we were out the sun had already set. This was one of the outfits I wore for the expo and I felt so powerful in it. The blazer and pants weren't from the same place, but they somehow made a matching set perfectly.

Friday, our last morning in New York! I am finally wearing something more casual because we're all done with the work stuff by that day. We had a few hours in the morning to grab breakfast before we had to leave for the airport.
Cardigan: Cotton On
Shoes: Nike Air Force 1
The sun very graciously shone so brightly on our last day and we had clear skies too! It was a very lovely morning, which made saying goodbye even harder.
New York is one city I will definitely visit again. Not only is the city itself magnetic, the food is good, the cafes are so on point, and many of the friends I've made through Insta actually live in New York too!
Hope you guys enjoyed this little recap of what I did and the outfits I wore during this trip.
Till the next,
M xx
